A state-of-the-art medical approach is complemented by thalassotherapy treatment, yielding excellent results in the treatment of diseases of the respiratory organs and the locomotor system in children, adults, and the elderly.
The programmes are designed to treat acute and chronic ailments affecting the upper respiratory system associated with allergic reactions, infections, and inflammation such as allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, and laryngitis.
The rehabilitation programme is led by an otorhinolaryngology specialist and the programme itself begins with a specialist examination and diagnostic tests. The set of therapeutic procedures is adapted to the specific health condition of each patient, and most often consists of inhalation therapy with seawater and essential oils, inhalation therapy with medication, vibration inhalation with medication, throat and nose rinsing, and treatment with Bonain solution. In addition to the medical treatments, climatotherapy through outdoor stays, exercising, walks, swimming, and other forms of outdoor physical activity by the sea and in the sea also significantly contribute to the recovery.
