Organized by the Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster and the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Republic of Croatia, this Wednesday, the 24th of November, the Ambassador of India, His Excellency Raj Kumar Srivastava, visited Thalassotherapia Opatija and Thalassotherapia Crikvenica.
This visit of Ambassador Raj Kumar Srivastava to Opatija and Crikvenica is a continuation of business cooperation between the Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster and the All India Institute of Ayurveda, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of AYUSH of the Republic of India. Note, this cooperation is the result of a common desire to strengthen and further develop cooperation in the study of traditional medical systems, especially in the field of Ayurveda through the organization of research, lectures and workshops and the development of academic standards for Ayurvedic education in Croatia.
Presentation and tour of the Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation of Heart, Lung and Rheumatism - Thalassotherapia Opatija was led by the Director prof. Viktor Peršić, MD. PhD and Assistant Director for Health Tourism Sandra Martinčić, while the Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County - Thalassotherapia Crikvenica was presented by Director Nataša Manestar, Head of Health Tourism Department Daniela Butorac and Sales Manager Dario Antić. On this occasion, on behalf of the Mayor, the Head of the Administrative Department Vjekoslava Glavan also presented the City of Crikvenica to Ambassador Srivastava.
Lecture by prof. Marin Karuza, PhD "Indian Way to the Stars - From the first observations to the observation of gravitational waves", held at the Astronomical Centre Rijeka, concluded the official visit of Ambassador Srivastava.
